JW Boutique Browar Lubicz, Dom Fryzur

Location

Kraków, Poland

Ultra-Premium Beauty Destination in the Historic Heart of Kraków | Kraków, Poland

This project presents the second flagship location of JW Boutique, situated within the prestigious Browar Lubicz complex in Kraków — a historic industrial landmark redefined through contemporary luxury lifestyle design. The salon elevates the brand’s identity into an ultra-premium category, becoming a curated destination for an elite clientele including athletes, public figures, and prominent representatives of business and cultural life.

The concept is rooted in the dialogue between heritage and modernity, where raw industrial architecture meets refined contemporary interior language. The result is a space that functions not only as a beauty salon, but as a spatial experience shaped by prestige, atmosphere, and architectural storytelling.

Architectural Context: Heritage Meets Contemporary Luxury

Located within the historic brick structures of Browar Lubicz, the salon embraces its industrial surroundings rather than competing with them.

The original red brick façade becomes a powerful architectural backdrop, enhanced by a subtle yet expressive neon sign that introduces a contemporary layer of identity. This contrast creates a deliberate tension between history and modern luxury branding, signaling a transformation from industrial heritage to a high-end lifestyle destination.

The exterior presence is discreet yet magnetic — designed to attract attention while maintaining architectural respect for the historic context.

Reception Experience: First Impression of Prestige

Upon entering JW Boutique, clients are welcomed into a reception space designed as a statement of modern luxury.

A monumental reception desk defines the spatial axis, combining refined geometry with premium materials and subtle illumination. Adjacent to it, a lounge area with a deep, sculptural leather sofa creates an atmosphere of comfort and exclusivity, encouraging a moment of pause before the experience begins.

Integrated LED lighting gently shapes the interior architecture, highlighting textures, defining volumes, and establishing a sophisticated spatial rhythm.

Sensory Environment: Green Walls & Coffee Ritual

A key design feature of the interior is the integration of living green walls, introducing a strong biophilic dimension into the otherwise refined architectural composition.

This vertical landscape softens the industrial character of the space, creating a calming visual contrast while improving the overall sensory experience. It functions as both a visual centerpiece and a psychological relief element within the urban environment.

Complementing this atmosphere is a dedicated coffee station, designed as part of the client ritual experience. The presence of high-quality coffee service transforms waiting time into a curated sensory moment, reinforcing the boutique identity of the salon.

Ultra-Premium Service Zones: Hair & Manicure Experience

JW Boutique is designed as a complete beauty destination offering both advanced hair styling services and a dedicated manicure zone.

Each workstation is designed with precision, ergonomics, and exclusivity in mind. White marble surfaces, refined timber accents, and vertical wooden slats define the material identity, ensuring continuity with the brand’s architectural language while elevating each functional zone into a premium experience environment.

The manicure area is conceived as an intimate, detail-focused space where craftsmanship and comfort intersect, allowing for a fully personalized luxury service experience.

Material Identity: Marble, Wood & Architectural Warmth

The interior material palette is defined by a balance of cool elegance and warm tactility.

White marble introduces a sense of purity and prestige, acting as the primary luxury surface throughout key functional areas. This is complemented by natural wood elements and vertical timber slats, which add rhythm, depth, and architectural softness.

Together, these materials create a cohesive environment that feels both highly curated and emotionally inviting — a hallmark of contemporary boutique luxury design.

Lighting Design: Sculpting Atmosphere

Lighting is treated as a core architectural instrument shaping perception and experience.

A layered LED lighting system is integrated throughout the space, emphasizing material contrasts and defining spatial hierarchy. Soft ambient illumination is combined with linear architectural lighting, creating a controlled yet atmospheric environment.

The result is a space that shifts seamlessly between functional clarity during the day and a more cinematic, immersive ambiance in the evening.

Prestige & Cultural Positioning

JW Boutique at Browar Lubicz has established itself as one of Kraków’s most recognizable luxury beauty destinations.

Its unique combination of historic setting, refined interior architecture, and high-end service positioning has made it a preferred location for an elite clientele. The project reflects a broader cultural shift in which beauty salons evolve into lifestyle spaces — where design, identity, and experience are inseparable.

Here, architecture becomes a strategic tool for brand elevation, transforming a service-based business into a curated luxury destination within the urban fabric of Kraków.
